Jorge Martin struggles at Mandalika, wary of Marquez

Martin's candid admission that he's 'a bit far' from the front is worth taking seriously — defending champions rarely volunteer weakness unless the gap is real. The Aprilia 1-2-3 on Friday is the kind of session result that flatters the timing sheets more than it predicts race pace, and Martin clearly isn't reading too much into it. What stands out is his continued focus on Marquez as the benchmark threat, which tells you where he thinks the genuine speed ceiling sits heading into the weekend.
